Capitol on the back.
$100 has a portrait of Benjamin Franklin with Independence Hall on
the back
The following bills are obsolete but still legal tender. All of the notes below are worth more than face value.
$500 has a portrait of McKinley with the words "FIVE
HUNDRED" on the back.
$1000 has a portrait of Grover Cleveland with the words "ONE
THOUSAND" on the back.
$5000 has a portrait of James Madison with the words "FIVE
THOUSAND" on the back.
$10,000 has a portrait of Salmon P. Chase with the words "TEN
THOUSAND" on the back.
